I’m 30 years old, married for almost 2 and a half years to my best friend. We’ve been trying to conceive for about a year and half. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) or as my doctor encouragingly says I have “lazy ovaries”. For treatment, I started taking Metformin and went on the South Beach diet. I was actually pregnant for 11 weeks before I had a miscarriage a week after my 30th birthday. That was in June. I have to believe this is going to change.
